Thackerville, OK – March 1, 2020 – The World Conformation Horse Association (WCHA) announces Ranch Horse Versatility Clinic with renown professional, Steve Meadows, July 11-12, 2020 in Pilot Point, TX. This clinic is open to everyone eager to learn from one of the best!
The clinic will be conducted by Steve Meadows, a successful trainer in the Ranch Riding events and a leader in the industry. He has obtained numerous World and Congress Championship in multiple breeds and events. Additionally, Steve was awarded one of AQHA’s highest honors by being named AQHA Most Valuable Professional. This accolade is bestowed to professionals who are successful in the arena as a competitor and who have a positive influence for exhibitors of the sport.
There are two sessions being offered each day based on level of experience of the rider. The first session of each day is for those competitors who are just getting started as exhibitors in the Ranch Horse discipline. The second session in the afternoon is for more advanced competitors. Eight slots are available for each session, both levels are welcome to be spectators in the opposite session of the one participating in. To obtain a slot in the WCHA Ranch Horse Versatility Clinic a fee of $275.00 is due on a first come basis, this fee also includes a stall for two nights while attending the clinic at MC Dragon Ranch in Pilot Point, TX. This clinic is open to anyone and everyone.
“WCHA is an association that rewards horses that have balance, eye appeal, are structurally sound, have willing dispositions but we also promote Form to Function conformation as a trait to be athletic in the show ring or on the ranch. WCHA sponsors ranch horse events with 3 phases of competition that bring out the best of what kind of horse our breeders raise,” explains Don Falcon, Executive Director of WCHA.
WCHA will sponsor two stakes classes again this fall during the WCHA Breeders Championship Futurity. Currently, over $12,500.00 in added money is up for grabs for Open and Non- Pro competitors riding Open and Maiden WCHA Bred horses.
